Donna passed away peacefully on Wednesday July 7, 2021 at BeeHive Homes in Kalispell with her sons, daughters-in-law and grandchildren by her side.

Born in 1935 to Harry Roland and Ora Belle Evans in Caldwell, Idaho, Donna grew up with sisters Elsie Waterman, Faye Guay and her brother Ron Evans. Donna graduated from Caldwell High School and attended the College of Idaho.

Donna married Urban L. Roth Esq. in 1965 and will be sadly missed by his sons Bryan Roth, Brett Roth, Bradley Roth, Patrick Roth, Urban Roth Jr. and Hans Roth.

She was predeceased by her parents, sister Elsie, and her beloved husband and daughter Cynthia Roth.

Donna has had a long professional career including Executive Secretary to JH Gibson, President of Caxton Printers Ltd. and office manager of the Caldwell Chamber of Commerce. Donna has worked with movie studios to bring western movie stars to the American and Canadian rodeo tours. She had known Clint Eastwood long before “Hang ‘Em High” hit theaters. She was a founding member of the Zonta International Women’s Business Organization. She was also director of the Klothes Kloset in Butte, modeled clothes and hosted a local TV show. Imagine, a fashion TV show in Butte in the 60s! In Butte, Donna has been very active in volunteer work, including for the Junior League, setting up libraries in local elementary schools and hosting Junior League holiday fashion shows. Donna supported local parish schools by hosting the first Butte Central Champagne Art Auction, working on the Board of Trustees of the Central Education Foundation, and co-chairing the first three Christmas Bazaars in Butte . Donna also served on the board of directors of the Civic Center. His volunteer work included the Montana Easter Seals Society; she loved working with children and taught CCD Head Start and organized religious retreats for junior high and high school students. Donna also ran a support group, Montana Teen Intervention, for at-risk teens. His morning walking group “Pep Step” was famous around Butte, with many people joining in and quickly giving up after realizing that the main members were talking as fast as they were walking, leaving everyone else breathless. without any word on the edge.

Donna retired with her husband Urban in 1993 on Flathead Lake, enjoying water / snow skiing, sailing, tennis, golf and hiking in the Mission Mountains and Glacier National Park.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 25, starting at 11 a.m. at noon at Immaculate Conception Church, 1002 4th Ave E., Polson. A memorial lunch will follow the service at 1 p.m. at the East Shore Smoke House Bar and Grill, 35103 Hwy. 35 Polson, just north of Finley Point Road.
